Raia cultivar
The Raia cultivar is typical of Umbria and Lazio and is used almost exclusively for the production of oil. The fruits are black and have an elliptical shape. It is one of the cultivars used for producing Sabina PDO extra virgin olive oil, an oil with a fruity scent and a uniform, fruity, aromatic, sweet, bitter and slightly spicy flavour.
