Ingredients:

  • 80 gr of brown sugar
  • 80 gr of extra virgin olive oil
  • 350 gr of white flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp of yeast
  • Ginger powder to taste
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Cloves to taste
  • Cinnamon to taste

Preparation:

  1. Mix the flour, the sugar, the yeast, the salt, and all the spices. Add the egg and extra virgin olive oil to obtain a firm dough.
  2. Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out. Cut it out using the cookie cutters. Bake for about 15 minutes in a hot oven at 180 degrees.
  3. Remove from the oven, let it cool and decorate with the white icing.
