Rome: Italy-All Blacks Rugby Match
The highly awaited match between the Azzurri (Italy’s national rugby team) and the All Blacks, three-time world champions, returned to Italy after 4 years: the current holders of the Rugby World Cup took to the pitch in the Olimpico Stadium in Rome for an event that attracted a large audience of fans and others just curious.
The last appearance of the All Blacks in Italy dates back to the sold-out match in November 2012, with 80,000 spectators joined by millions of television viewers.
It was much more than a sporting match, it was an event that goes beyond the rugby dimension and, as always, attracted a cross-cutting sector of public opinion, sportsmen/women in general, sympathisers and the curious.
“Looking for the Perfect Food” could not fail to be present for the classic “third half”, arranging for the distribution of information material and gadgets, and promoting the offer of guided tastings of high-quality European olive products.
