Thanks to its innumerable properties, extra virgin olive oil can also be used as a base for beauty masks for both greasy and dry skin. These masks are easy to prepare: few ingredients are needed and they are all readily available at home.
Here are 4 of them, one for every occasion!

Mask for dry skin

2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil

2 teaspoons of yoghurt

½ teaspoon of honey

Mix the ingredients until creamy.

Spread the mask on your face and lips, paying attention to the area around your eyes; leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse with plenty of lukewarm water. Your skin will immediately feel more moisturised and nourished, and your lips less cracked.

Face and body scrub

5 tablespoons of coconut flour

1 teaspoon of brown sugar

6 tablespoons of olive oil

Mix the ingredients thoroughly and then massage the resulting scrub deeply onto the body and face, paying attention to the area surrounding the eyes. Leave it on for 5-10 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water and soap. Your skin will be soft and smooth.

Nourishing mask

1 egg yolk

Juice of ½ a lemon

1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil

Mix the ingredients until creamy, wash your face and apply the mask, avoiding the eye and lip contours. Leave the mask on for 20 minutes and then rinse the face alternately with lukewarm and then cold water for a toning effect.

Rejuvenating treatment for the body

50 gr rhassoul powder

35 ml extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoons of turmeric
Mix the ingredients until they form a smooth cream, apply it on wet skin in the shower and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water, massaging the body. Repeat once or twice a week for elastic, smooth and soft skin.
